Right now, my alma mater (Seton Hall University) is about to make a go in the NCAA Tournament, and this weekend, they competed in the Big East Tournament (and suffered a tear-jerking loss to Villanova). Anyway, game days call for game day apps, and my sister gave me the idea to try my hand at some honey garlic Parmesan wings.
Sweet honey pairs well with salty soy sauce and gets a kick from red pepper flakes in this delish glaze. I didn’t flour and fry the wings because I love the texture and bite of the skin when it’s oven baked. There’s not much else to say about these wings—you’ll have to taste it to believe it.
Makes 20-30 wings
Ingredients
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
20-30 chicken wings
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
1-2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400. Spray a baking sheet covered with tin foil. Spread wings on baking sheet and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and Parmesan (add red pepper flakes for a little spice). Bake 30 minutes, then flip and bake for another 18 minutes (or until wings are cooked and there is no pink). In a small bowl, add first five ingredients, and mix until fully combined, then set aside until wings are cooked. When wings are done, stir glaze and pour over wings. Bake for about 5 more minutes or until sauce thickens. Cool two minutes and serve.
These look really yummy!

Funny story—my bracket that I filled out at work last year had Seton Hall winning the whole thing. Mainly because I thought it was a cool name for a university! Also, these wings look incredible.
